DNP student receives award from Sigma Theta Tau

Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) student, Marcia Johansson, recently received a scholarship from Sigma Theta Tau International, Honor Society of Nursing’s Delta Beta Chapter-at-Large.

Johansson, who is also an instructor at USF Nursing, was awarded $1,375 towards her DNP project, which focuses on mobile text messages to improve self-care for patients with heart failure.
