Dr. Alicia Rossiter hosts webinar on women veterans issues

USF Nursing military liaison, Alicia Rossiter, DNP, ARNP, FNP, PNP-BC, hosted a military caregiver webinar on therapy techniques for women veterans.

Dr. Rossiter, who is also the sequence director for the Veteran to Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program also known as V-CARE, focused her discussion on issues such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and military sexual trauma.

Dr. Rossiter recently received funding from the Jonas Center for Nursing and Veterans Healthcare to conduct research on women veterans health issues including military sexual trauma, PTSD, disordered eating and sleeping.
