Dr. Cheryl Zambroski is always on the run. And we mean this literally!

For several years, she’s been running races and marathons to raise money for charity. Gasparilla Distance Classic is one of her recent running endeavors.

Dr. Zambroski, who is associate professor and director for undergraduate of student success at the USF College of Nursing, recently ran Tampa Bay’s 2016 Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic 15K and 8K races, specifically focusing on the Lime Challenge.

She participated in this event through her running group, Run Tampa, in memory of Tampa woman, Michelle DeJong, who recently died of brain cancer.

Dr. Zambroski was competitive in the race, winning a special Gasparilla medal for her impressive accomplishment.
