Dr. Cindy Tofthagen to present at FNA assembly on CARE Tampa Bay

Cindy Tofthagen, PhD, ARNP, AOCNP, FAANP, assistant professor and director of the oncology concentration at USF Nursing, will present on the college’s CARE Tampa Bay clinic on Sept. 11-12 at the 2015 Florida Nurses Association Membership Assembly in St. Augustine, Fla.

Dr. Tofhagen, who is the director of CARE Tampa Bay, will focus her presentation on “CARE Tampa Bay:  A Novel Approach to Self-Management Support for People with Chronic Health Conditions.”

CARE Tampa Bay, which was officially opened in May 2015, is a free clinic that provides education and support for people suffering with chronic conditions including heart disease, cancer and neuropathy.
