“eSMART is designed to empower people from medically and socially disadvantaged groups to more effectively self-manage their chronic illness, including negotiating for what they want and need,” said Dr. Clochesy on Bay News 9’s Health Segment hosted by Dr. Randy Shuck. “The system helps people interact with their healthcare provider as realistically as possible. Participants were amazed at how much they learned during this virtual experience, and how real the entire process was.”
USF Oracle also placed Dr. Clochesy’s story about eSMART on the front page of the student newspaper on Sept. 25, 2013. To see that edition click here.
