University of South Florida College of Nursing Professor and Endowed Chair Meredeth Rowe, RN, PhD, FGSA, FAAN discussed on Health, Wealth, and Wisdom 1470 AM AMGG Radio (Senior Voice of America) her current study focused on individuals who care for people suffering with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. The study tests the relationship between caregiver sleep and heart disease to help understand what negatively affects caregiver health.

Dr. Rowe’s special interview about the $1.9 million study, funded by National Institute on Aging (NIA), aired on July 17, 2013 during the radio’s 4 p.m. broadcast. Her full interview was also posted on Senior Voice America’s website.
