Dr. Versie Johnson-Mallard named fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners

Versie Johnson-Mallard, PhD, MSN, MSMS, assistant professor for University of South Florida College of Nursing, has been named Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She was honored with the award for her vital contribution to clinical practice, research and education.

Dr. Johnson-Mallard is one of three USF Nursing faculty members to receive this prestigious award. She will be inducted during the AANP’s 29th National Conference on June 19 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

AANP is a national organization which advocates for the active role of nurse practitioners as providers of high-quality, cost-effective, personalized, and patient-centered health care.
