Johnson-Mallard Selected to Chair NLN Nurse Educator Workforce Development Advisory Council

USF Nursing Assistant Professor Versie Johnson-Mallard, ARNP, PhD has been selected to serve as the National League for Nursing’s chair-elect, 2010-2012; chair, 2012-2014 of the Nurse Educator Workforce Development Advisory Council (NEWDAC).

The purpose of the Nurse Educator Workforce Development Advisory Council is to lead and champion the lifelong career development of a diverse, well-prepared nurse educator workforce in academic, practice, or other service settings, nationally and internationally.

“As chair elect of NEWDAC, I plan to actively participant in strengthening evidence base for innovation and technology  in teaching, and leadership in nursing education,” said Johnson-Mallard.
