Kimberly Brown Represents College of Nursing in USF Health Choir
“I’ve always enjoyed singing, and I thought this was an excellent opportunity to show off my talent.” That’s what Kimberly Brown, Academic Support Specialist at USF Nursing, said about her performance in the USF Health Choir during the “Music of Revolution” Spring Concert series.

Brown represented the College of Nursing by singing in the USF Health Choir during the “Music of Revolution” concert series held at the USF Health Rotunda on April 12, 2012. Brown was the only performer representing the College of Nursing.
“I am so very proud to represent the College of Nursing in the prestigious USF Health Choir,” Brown said. “It was an amazing accomplishment. I keep pretty busy so the decision to commit to the extra time required for rehearsal was not easy. Honestly, some weeks I had to juggle my responsibilities, however, the reward of the applause and the smiles from the audience assured me that I made the right decision. I plan to continue in the choir next semester.”
The Music of Revolution concert series, conducted by Frazier Stevenson, MD, USF Morsani College of Medicine Associate Dean for Undergraduate Medical Education, featured a dramatic overture, an expressive folk song, and other inspiring choral pieces in French and Italian.

Brown performed with the USF Health Choir and Orchestra at multiple venues on the USF campus including the new USF School of Music Concert Hall on April 5, 2012, and at the American Cancer Society Relay for Life event on April 13, 2012.
