Kip Collaborating on Grant Aimed to Reduce Prescription Medication Abuse

Kevin Kip, PhD, FAHA, Interim Associate Dean of Research and Innovation & Executive Director of the Research Center at the USF College of Nursing is working with Florida Poison Control Center at Tampa General Hospital to write a grant which will result in a widespread media campaign in Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties aimed at reducing prescription medication abuse, especially pain medications. In addition to Tampa General Hospital, the USF College of Nursing will be partnering with CBS News on this project.
