Lauren De Young: Excellent Customer Service Gold Star Award Recipient

VMS student, Lauren De Young, is the recipient of a Gold Star Award for Excellent Customer Service from the VA Gold Star Committee. This award is based on an unsolicited written, nomination from a patient, which was generated in June while she was in her Community Nursing clinical rotation. A patient at the VA wrote,”Was professional, curious and nice. She answered my questions and listened to my complaining about my pain and offered assistance.” Congratulations Lauren and thank you for representing the College, University and nursing profession well in the community.
