Morrison-Beedy Identifies Collaborative Partnership Opportunities with Ghanzu University in China
As part of a delegation to establish new relationships with Ghanzu University in China, Dean Dianne Morrison-Beedy met with nursing faculty at Ghanzu University to identify priority nursing education and clinical training issues that the USF College of Nursing might address in a collaborative partnership. Ideas that were discussed included a “Train the Trainer’ program with USF College of Nursing faculty working with the faculty in Ghanzu China, and having two visiting nurse scholars attend USF for two week periods to be provided scholarly experiences in both the faculty and clinical areas. The trip was “eye-opening” both in terms of global health issues and collaborative possibilities.
