Nursing Career Fairs Planned

The Florida Nursing Student’s Association at the University of South Florida (FNSA @USF) will hold its annual College of Nursing Career Day on Monday, February 22nd 2010, from 10:00am to 3:00 pm. FNSA Career Day is an event designed to familiarize baccalaureate nursing students with various employment opportunities available in the health care field after graduation. In past years, over 200 students have participated in FNSA Career Day and more than 20 vendors from all over the state of Florida have attended. On March 17th, 2010, the Adult and Family Nurse Practitioner master’s concentrations will host a Career Fair in the USF Health Rotunda from 11:00am-1:00pm. Current master’s students in our adult and family concentrations will have an opportunity to meet representatives from various primary and specialty care practices and learn more about potential job opportunities. Nursing students and faculty planning to attend either event are asked to please wear name badges to facilitate identification.
