Nursing Dean Dianne Morrison-Beedy awarded USF Outstanding Faculty

Dianne Morrison-Beedy, PhD, RN, WHNP-BC, FNAP, FAANP, FAAN, senior associate vice president of USF Health and dean of the College of Nursing, recently received the USF Outstanding Faculty award from the USF Provost’s Office.

Dr. Morrison-Beedy received the award for her Fulbright International Education Administrators Program service in France. She is one of only 20 USF faculty to receive this coveted award, and the only USF faculty to participate in the Fulbright International Education program.

Dr. Morrison-Beedy traveled to Lyon, Grenoble, Paris and Mainz in Oct. 2014 to complete the Fulbright program – allowing her to connect with higher education programs abroad and learn about teaching and research collaborative opportunities for the College of Nursing, USF Health and USF. During the trip, administrators were also introduced to French dignitaries as well as current students at the universities. Watch video for her trip details here.

The USF College of Nursing dean will be honored with this award by USF President, Judy Genshaft, PhD, and USF provost and Excecutive Vice President, Ralph Wilcox, PhD, during the USF Outstanding Awards dinner on March 24.
