Nursing dean holds breakfast event with community service student winners
USF College of Nursing dean, Dianne Morrison-Beedy, PhD, RN, WHNP-BC, FNAP, FAANP, FAAN, held a special breakfast for 2014-2015 community service student award winners on April 29.
Dr. Morrison-Beedy met with the group of students to thank them for making in a difference at USF Nursing and in the community. She also thanked them for creating the Bulls Reaching Achievement in Nursing (BRAIN), an initiative that allows students to help other students have an easier college experience.
USF Nursing student Chelsea Ruehling, who is graduating with her bachelor’s degree in May 2015, appreciated the dean’s effort to recognize’ the students’ hard work.
“It was a great opportunity to sit and talk to you about the projects we have been working on since entering nursing school,” Ruehling said. “Your enthusiasm for what we have accomplished was truly refreshing and encouraged all of us to keep working hard to make USF College of Nursing a great place for all students to learn and grow as nurses.”
