Nursing instructor to become Jonas Policy Scholar
USF Nursing instructor, Stephen Mcghee, MSC, has been selected to become an American Academy of Nursing Jonas Policy Scholar for 2016. Mcghee will serve as the Jonas Policy Scholar for the military and veteran health expert panel.
The American Academy of Nursing, an organization dedicated to advancing health policy and practice, selected Mcghee to be a member of this panel based on his expertise in military and veterans’ health issues-including research and education.

He will also help mentor early-career Jonas Policy scholars on military and veteran health issues. In addition, he will attend the 2016 and 2017 AAN policy conferences – to be held in Washington D. C.
Mcghee joined USF College of Nursing in 2014 from University of Stirling in Scotland, where he served as a faculty member.
