Nursing Researcher to Receive USF Outstanding Faculty Award

USF College of Nursing’s Associate Professor Connie Visovsky, PhD, RN, ACNP, FAAN, will be receiving the 2019 Outstanding Faculty Award for being named a Core Fulbright U.S. Scholar. She is currently working on a Fulbright global scholar project in Panama.

Dr. Visovsky will receive the honor at an awards ceremony and dinner on March 26. The university-wide award acknowledges professors who earned national and international recognition from prestigious academic and professional organizations.

Dr. Visovsky is working on setting up a collaborative breast cancer registry to help identify risk factors for racially diverse Panamanian women. To read more about her international research project, go here.
