Nursing Student, Faculty and Staff Participation in USF Health Research Day 2010

College of Nursing PhD student, Natalia Saunders was one of eight students invited to make oral research presentations at the Annual Joseph Krzanowski, PhD, USF Health Invited Oral Presentations Session during USF Health Research Day on February 19, 2010. Saunders presented, “MRSA Prevention in the Correctional Healthcare Setting.”
Two Nursing faculty presented research posters at USF Health Research Day 2010. Dr. Maureen Groer presented, “Suppression of Natural Killer Cell Cytotoxicity in Postpartum Women,” and Dr. Carla Nye presented, “What do Students Really Want From Their Faculty?”
College of Nursing lab technician, Brittany Hasty presented a research poster on “Comparative Immune Factors and Effects of Preterm versus Colostrum.”
