Nursing student, Emma Jagasia, received the 2016 Golden Bull Award from USF. She was one of 20 USF students to be recognized with this award.

Jagasia is not only an outstanding student, she also stays involved in campus-wide activities and consistently volunteers in the community – inspiring other students to do the same.

Jagasia is president of the USF Nursing Student Association, and a volunteer at USF Nursing’s CARE Tampa Bay, a free clinic that provides education and support for people suffering with heart disease, cancer and neuropathy.

Through the student organization, Jagasia helped host the first Bull Nurses Week celebration in March 2016. The week-long event was a great success.
