USF College of Nursing student Dany Fanfan was selected as the top student poster during the Southern Nursing Research Society’s 33rd annual conference in Orlando from Feb. 27 to March 1.

 

Fanfan won first place for her poster titled, “Migration-Related Stress and Depression Among First Generation Haitian Immigrants in Florida.”

 

Her poster was based on her dissertation research on the mental health of Haitian migrants living the U.S.
