Nursing students take part in USF Health community event
USF Nursing students recently participated in a health fair at the Lazy Days RV Park in Seffner to help improve the health of the Tampa Bay community.
Students provided blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol screenings for employees, visitors and campers attending the event. USF College of Nursing Instructor, Allison Edmonds Poff, PhD, ARNP, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, supervised students at the fair.
Nursing students, along with other students from USF Health, helped Tampa General Hospital provide the health screenings as well as educate fair visitors.
