RESTORE LIVES Center Participates in Veterans on the Green Golf Classic

The USF College of Nursing RESTORE LIVES Center participated in and sponsored a hole at the first annual Veterans on the Green Golf Classic on April 9, 2011. Hosted by the Student Veterans Association and the Office of Veterans Services, the event raised monies to start a Student Veteran Emergency Relief Fund to help student veterans suffering financial hardship to stay in school.
The USF College Nursing RESTORE LIVES Veterans on the Green Golf Classic team included Dianne Morrison-Beedy, PhD, RN, WHNP-BC, FNAP, FAANP, FAAN, Dean of the College of Nursing and Senior Associate Vice President of USF Health; Kevin Kip, PhD, FAHA, Executive Director of the College of Nursing Research Center; Carrie Elk, PhD, Assistant Professor and College of Nursing Military Liaison; and Luis Battistini, MSCS, Senior Computer Support Specialist.
