Selfies take over Week of Welcome celebrations at USF College of Nursing
Traditionally, College of Nursing students take part in workshops and meet and greet activities during the USF Week of Welcome (WOW). However, this year, the college took the WOW celebrations to a slightly “untraditional” direction…by hosting a “selfies with the dean,” that is.
Of course, selfies were a great hit. Dozens of students lined up in the college’s gathering space for an opportunity to meet and take selfies with Dianne Morrison-Beedy, PhD, RN, WHNP-BC, FAANP, FNAP, FAAN, senior associate vice president of USF Health and dean of the USF College of Nursing.
College of Nursing celebrated new and current students during USF Week of Welcome. Students were welcomed by faculty and staff and were also treated with food, beverages and other fun activities.
