Sim Lab Assistant Director Receives Certification
USF College of Nursing Assistant Director John Todaro recently became a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) through the Society for Simulation in Healthcare.
The certification is a formal recognition of the specialized knowledge and skills required in simulation education. It allows Todaro to identify best practices in health care simulation education and provides a standardization and a pool of knowledge of best practices.
Corey Sargent, operations specialist in the sim lab, also recently received the CHSE certification.
And Koundinya Kompalli, a teaching laboratory manager, recently became a Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (CHSOS).
