Southern Nursing Research Society Honors Outstanding Research Mentors

The faculty contingent to the Southern Nursing Research Society meeting in February 2010 selected five USF College of Nursing faculty members to be honored as outstanding research mentors. Mentors were acknowledged in writing at the SNRS meeting and received a commemorative pin. Our outstanding mentors are:

Dr. Mary Evans – for mentoring faculty from diverse practice backgrounds with limited resources.

Dr. Maureen Groer –  for bringing faculty into her research work and exposing them to a research-rich environment.

Dr. Cecile Lengacher – for the long term mentoring required for the BSN to PhD students.

Dr. Susan McMillan – for her enthusiastic mentoring of the undergraduate faculty’s research.

Dr. Cheryl Zambroski – for her generous mentoring of Sandra Vonnes’ research.
