Stampede Into Bull Nursing students hold USF Nursing Thanksgiving Food Drive
University of South Florida College of Nursing’s Stampede Into Bull Nursing students are holding a Thanksgiving Food Drive through Tuesday, November 20th to collect food items to help people struggling with hunger in the Tampa Bay community.
As you prepare to celebrate the Thanksgiving Holiday this year, think about all you have to be thankful for and remember those who are in great need. Please bring in some extra food items to give someone else a reason to be thankful. Support Stampede into Bull Nursing and Feeding America Tampa Bay.
The Stampede Into Bull Nursing, a mentorship program for pre-nursing students, will donate the collected food items to the Feeding America Tampa Bay. This local organization is part of Feeding America, the largest domestic hunger relief organization in the country consisting of more than 200 food banks.
Stampede Into Bull Nursing students have placed donation boxes in the USF College of Nursing gathering space and Pre-Nursing Learning Leaving Community areas, where students, faculty, and staff can drop off any food related items for those in need. Some needed food items include canned meats, canned fruits and vegetables, canned meals, and other related canned items.
