Student represents CRNA at AANA meeting
USF Nurse Anesthesia student, Meghan Mattson, will present her first poster at the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Annual Congress Meeting on Sept. 9 in Washington, D.C.
Mattson will present on “Literature Review on Alpha-2 Adrenoceptor Agonist Adjuvants to Caudal Local Anesthetics in Pediatric Patients.” She is the first CRNA student at USF to submit a poster for consideration at a major national conference.
“I am grateful to have the opportunity to represent the USF CRNA program at the AANA Annual Congress,” Mattson said. “I am eager to share my knowledge with attendees and network with CRNAs from around the country. I believe this will be beneficial to my growth – as I prepare to become an independent anesthesia provider.”
