Tampa SoCRA Chapter Initiated

The University of South Florida, College of Nursing hosted the initiation meeting of the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) Suncoast Chapter on April 29, 2010. This is a new chapter in the Tampa area for SoCRA, which is an international membership educational organization committed to providing education, certification, and networking opportunities to all persons involved in clinical research activities in all therapeutic areas, supporting industry, government, and academia. The educational program for the meeting, “Advances in the Age of Research e-Management”, was presented by Chapter Chairperson Debra A. Mimo, RN, CCRC, CCRP of the University of South Florida. The College of Nursing will host future SoCRA events, and faculty and staff within USF and the Tampa Bay research community at large are welcomed to attend. For more information, contact Debra A.
