USF Nursing Glenna Brewster To Become Officer For Aging Organization
USF College of Nursing PhD student, Glenna Brewster, MS, RN, FNP,-BC, has been named Emerging Scholar and Professional Organization Secretary by Gerontological Society of America (GSA).
As a representative of GSA and its Emerging Scholar and Professional Organization, Brewster will be responsible for governance and strategic planning. She was one of 16 GSA members to receive this title.
GSA is the nation’s oldest and largest interdisciplinary organization devoted to research, education and practice in the field of aging. Brewster will be recognized for this new role during GSA’s 67th Annual Scientific Meeting Nov. 5 to 9 in Washington D.C.
