Thirty-four Nursing students have been inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International

Thirty-four USF College of Nursing graduating students have been inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International, Honor Society of Nursing.

Thirty-four USF College of Nursing graduate students have been inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International, Honor Society of Nursing.

Nursing faculty is proud of the students’ achievement.

“This Fall we had an inspiring number of students inducted into Sigma Theta Tau,” Assistant Professor, Director for the Center of Virtual Simulation, Laura González, PhD, ARNP,CNE, said. “It is a testament to the dedication and scholarship put forth by the nursing students at USF, [and] I am proud to be the Local Chapter Vice President.”

Thirty-four USF College of Nursing graduate students have been inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International, Honor Society of Nursing.

Students are thankful for the faculty’s dedication and their endless efforts to help each student succeed.

“I love that I could email my teachers and get a response in less than 24 hours,” Graduate Student and STTI inductee, Laura Leslie, said. “I love that they know my name, and that I could just swing by their office…and it’s no big deal to just sit down and talk to them. You cannot get that kind of experience at any other schools.”

The students were inducted into STTI for demonstrating excellence in scholarship and for realizing exceptional achievements in the College of Nursing.
