USF College of Nursing’s Dr. Harleah Buck Joins Editorial Board of National Cardiac Journal
USF College of Nursing Associate Professor Harleah Buck, PhD, RN, FPCN, FAAN, was invited to join the editorial board of one of the country’s premier non-nursing cardiac journals.
As an editorial board member of Circulation: Cardiovascular Quality and Outcomes, Dr. Buck will conduct a monthly peer review, serve as Guest Editor when needed, and provide feedback on ways to improve the journal.
“I’m honored to serve the American Heart Association in this capacity,” said Dr. Buck.
This leadership role will be a two-year tenure.
The journal, which is published bimonthly by the American Heart Association, includes articles related to improving cardiovascular health and health care.
Its goal is to provide “the best cardiovascular science and educational content in outcomes research, with a focus on informing users in formats that are simple, practical, and targeted,” according to the journal.
