The USF Nursing Alumni & Friends Society held the event to promote the RN-BS degree program, engage alumni, showcase student research posters, and continue to enrich the College’s relationship with Morton Plant Hospital. Over 40 USF Nursing alumni, faculty and staff, and Morton Plant staff attended the event.(Left to Right). During their clinical experience, senior nursing students collaborate with nurse managers, unit educators along with their preceptor to identify quality evaluation and quality improvements on their units.

“This event was such a great success,” Vonnes said. “Our students had the chance to not only display their posters but also connect and network with other attendees. We used this opportunity to have an open poster sessions in order for students to share their findings. ”
