USF College of Nursing caregiver researchers to run the 2013 Alzheimer’s Family Pasco Challenge
Caregiver researchers at University of South Florida College of Nursing will participate in the 2013 Alzheimer’s Family Pasco Challenge to support the Alzheimer’s Family Organization. The challenge will take place at the Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park in New Port Richey on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 8:00 a.m.
USF Nursing’s caregiver researchers, under the leadership of Professor and Endowed Chair, Meredeth A. Rowe,, RN, PhD, FGSA, FAAN, will be volunteering their time with a walking and bicycling team to help raise money for families affected by Alzheimer’s and caregivers.
“Please join us if you can in support of this great cause and a group that is crucially important to our study success and vulnerable older adults in our community,” Dr. Rowe said.
To participate in the challenge, there is a charge of $30 which includes breakfast, lunch, a t-shirt, music, and a great company.
