USF Nursing advisor recognized for work with USF house calls academic initiative

Gregory Wence, pre-nursing academic advisor at USF College of Nursing, was recognized for his work on the USF house calls academic initiative within Housing and Residential Education.

Wence helped the program through house calls visits to residence halls including Maple Hall, which houses Pre-Nursing Living Learning Community (LLC) students.

This initiative pairs USF faculty and staff with housing staff to engage freshmen residents within their living environment. This effort also helps freshmen make an easy transition from high school to college.
