USF Nursing Anesthesia Instructor, Jason Trudell, featured on American Association of Nurse Anesthetists’ (AANA) website

Jason Trudell, MS, CRNA, ARNP, Nurse Anesthesia Instructor at University of South Florida College of Nursing, has been featured on the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists’ (AANA) website. Trudell is being recognized for his recent deployment as a Captain with the U.S. Army in May 2012.

“My husband is a man of integrity who wants nothing more than to give these soldiers quality of care in anesthesia,” said Trudell’s wife, Audrey Trudell, on the AANA’s website. “He has made his two boys and I very proud to carry his name. He enjoys the simple things in life, such as spending quality time wrestling with his two rambunctious boys – ages two and three!”

AANA also honored Trudell on its social media sites including Facebook and Twitter. Many people responded to those posts expressing their gratitude towards his sacrifice for his country. Some of those comments included: “Proud to have been a classmate! Thanks for all you do Jason!” and “Jason is active in Florida Association of Nurse Anesthetists (FANA), and is running for the Board of Directors. Thanks for your service, Jason!!”

This is Trudell’s third deployment within the last year, according to AANA’s website.
