USF Nursing Displays Nursing Heroes: Caring for the Community Exhibit
University of South Florida College of Nursing is displaying the Nursing Heroes: Caring for the Community exhibit through July, 2013. The exhibit, sponsored by District IV Florida Nurses Association, showcases five local nurses local nurses that have gone above and beyond the call of duty to advocate and care for patients despite racial intolerance paving the way for future nurses. One of the nurses included in the exhibit is USF College of Nursing Emeritus Faculty, Imogene King, EdD, RN, who retired in 1990.
The posters were previously exhibited at the Tampa Bay History Center in Tampa.
