USF Nursing faculty and staff get recognized at Opening Days event

USF College of Nursing faculty and staff members were honored with awards during the College’s 2014 Opening Days celebrations, Aug. 20 through Aug. 22.

The following faculty and staff were recognized for their outstanding service to USF College of Nursing:

• Cheryl Wilson, MSN, ARNP, ANP-BC, Instructor and Clinical Team Coordinator – Innovative Teaching Award
• Debra Harding, MS, RN, Instructor – Clinical Teaching Excellence Award
• Hsiao-Lan Wang, PhD, RN, CMSRN, HFS, Assistant Professor – Outstanding New Investigator Award
• Theresa Beckie, PhD, MN, RN, FAHA, Professor – Established Investigator Award
• Kevin Kip, PhD, FAHA, Distinguished USF Health Professor and Executive Director of Research Center – Research Article of the Year Award
• Denise Maguire, PhD, RN, CNL, Assistant Professor – Clinical/Teaching Article of the Year Award
• Sandra Czerwinski, RN, MSN, Instructor Program Director, RN-BS Completion – Faculty Leadership Award

The Opening Days celebration is a USF College of Nursing tradition. Every year, the College kicks off the new academic year with a series of presentations, meetings, workshops, and fun activities for faculty and staff.
