USF Nursing hosts NCLEX prep tournament for students
For the second year in a row, USF Nursing students organized a March Madness activity of their own throughout the month. They hosted the March Madness NCLEX Prep Tournament to study for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX).
Cheryl Zambroski, PhD, associate professor at USF Nursing, put together the NCLEX tournament using the game board and NCLEX questions from RNtertainment to help students prepare for their upcoming NCLEX exam.
Students were divided into different teams and competed against each other in three rounds. Some of the top teams included Pill Crushers, Can’t C., Diff Us, Fantastic Four and Xaniax. On round three, Pill Crushers was the winning team – beating Xaniax in a close game.
USF Nursing hosts the month-long study tournament to give students an opportunity to prepare for their NCLEX exams early and in groups.
