USF Nursing staff shine at USF research award luncheon

College of Nursing staff received several recognitions during the sixth USF Annual Research Administration Improvement Network (TRAIN) award luncheon on April 2.

USF Nursing’s clinical research administrator, Sue Ann Girling, AAS, BSAS, and unit research administrators, Cathryn Branch, MPA, Arthur Thomas, Janice Walker, BA and Trudy Wittenberg, BS were inducted into the 2014-2015 Academy of Certified Research Administrators at USF. They have all achieved the advanced level of certified research administrator.

Walker was also nominated for the Excellence in Research Administration award and was recognized at the event.

The Academy of Certified Administrators recognizes research administration as a respected profession – to enhance the visibility of the pivotal role that research administrators have in USF’s success as a high impact, global research university.
