USF Nursing Student Council holds Relay For Life fundraiser
The University of South Florida College of Nursing Student Council (CNSC) is holding a fundraiser for the Relay for Life USF 2013 at the You Say You When Yogurt Shoppe at 5006 East Fowler Ave. in Tampa on Dec. 6, from 11:00a.m. to 11:00p.m.
The Nursing’s Relay for Life team has already been registered for the event, and it is officially called Bull Nurses. CNSC Secretary and Bull Nurses Captain, Danielle Steele, said their goal is to raise $5,000. Steele also said students who go inside You Say You When Yogurt to purchase something will get a 20 percent off– if they say they are with CNSC.
Relay for Life is an overnight community fundraising walk organized by American Cancer Society, where teams of people camp out around a track to raise money and awareness to save lives from cancer. Relay for Life will be held at USF Track & Field Stadium on April 13, 2013.
