USF Nursing Students Provide Health Screenings to USF Employees at Annual Benefits Fair

USF Nursing students, under the direction of Debra A. Friedrich, DNP, ARNP, FNP-C, CLS, FNLA, Assistant Professor and Concentration Director for Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) at USF College of Nursing, were out in full force conducting general health screening assessments for hundreds of USF faculty, staff and administrators during the annual employee benefits fair.USF Nursing students conducting general health screenings at the USF Benefits Fair
During the fair, they also conducted patient education on diabetes, hypertension, and elevated cholesterol. They also assisted with blood pressure, blood sugar, and blood cholesterol screenings.
