USF Nursing to deliver bears to sick children this holiday season
It’s that time of year again! USF College of Nursing is gearing for a busy holiday season as the college preps to deliver bears to sick children at hospitals across the Tampa Bay area.
USF College of Nursing will bring smiles to hundreds of children, Dec. 1 to Dec. 5, at five different hospitals including Tampa General Hospital, Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Morton Plant Hospital, Countryside Mease Hospital, St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital and All Children’s Hospital.
The custom gray bears, dressed in their very own 2014 USF Nursing uniforms, will be hand delivered by USF Nursing students to each hospital.
The USF Nursing B.E.A.R.S. program, created in 2012, helps encourage alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends to support the college while sharing a little joy with children in the Tampa Bay community. The proceeds help benefit the college’s research and student success initiatives.
So, send a smile, sponsor a bear TODAY!
