USF Nursing VANA faculty to present at AAMC Joining Forces Webinar
University of South Florida College of Nursing, in partnership with James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital, will present a webinar on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) Simulation on Nov. 14 from 1:15 p.m. to 1:50 p.m.. Carla Nye, DNP, CNE, Instructor for the VA Nursing Academy at USF College of Nursing, and Janet Sprehe, ARNP, CVRN, RN-BC, Instructor for the VA Nursing Academy at USF College of Nursing, will present the webinar session to share the College’s success in teaching nursing students about PTSD, and to inspire other the colleges around the country to do the same.


The webinar series is sponsored by the Association American Medical Colleges (AAMC) as part of the Joining Forces Wellness Week. The series is focused on a variety of military-related topics followed by a complimentary patient simulation or standardized patient demonstration.
