USF Nursing student receives FNA scholarship

Merdijana Kurtic, nursing student at the University of South Florida College of Nursing, received the Ruth Jacobs District 46 Scholarship.

“I feel really blessed and honored to be selected by an honorable organization such as FNA,” Kurtic said. “Being selected for the scholarship is a great accomplishment.”

Kurtic is recognized for the scholarship on page 11 of the Florida Nurse’s December publication, volume 59, number 4.

According to the Florida Nurses Association, The Florida Nurse has a circulation of over 234,000 readers as it is distributed to every registered nurse and nursing student in Florida.
