Three SPT&RS Faculty Members Paper Published


Dr. Seok Hun Kim (middle above) with the University of South Florida (USF) School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences (SPT&RS) and Dr. Kyle Reed, Associate Professor with the USF College of Engineering¬† recently had their paper published in the Journal of NeuroEngineering and Rehabilitation. Dr. Matthew Lazinski (right above) and Dr. Rebecca Edgeworth Ditwiler (left above) from USF STP&RS are also co-authors for this paper. The paper is titled “Relearning functional and symmetric walking after stroke using a wearable device: a feasibility study.” The study looked at gait impairment among patients who have suffered a stroke, and the use of new device to help with gait rehabilitation.
